Ed Brancati grew up in Goldens Bridge and graduated from John Jay High School in 1994.
After graduating the University of Richmond in Virginia in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics, Ed moved to Washington, DC, where he worked as a staff assistant and legislative correspondent for Vice President Gore during the last two years of the Clinton Administration.
Ed returned to Lewisboro in 2001 to work for Congresswoman Nita M. Lowey. Over the next five years, he assisted Congresswoman Lowey in serving the people of New York’s 18th Congressional District, working closely with elected officials to ensure that they received funding for their community improvements.
Ed Brancati was elected to the Lewisboro Town Board in 2006 and worked to preserve and improve Lewisboro’s water quality with the Lewisboro Lakes Committee and the Lewisboro Stormwater Management Committee.
Throughout his career in government, with open and honest communication, Ed Brancati has worked tirelessly to provide citizens with the highest level of service, and develop policies that help to strengthen the community.
