Peter Ripperger (D)
Highway Superintendent

Peter Ripperger, former administrator of the Lewisboro Police Department is the Highway Supervisor. A resident of Vista, Peter has seen alot of changes in our town in his 30 years of residency here.

Peter volunteers his time and energy to our community. He has been a member of the South Salem Fire Department for over 15 years serving both as a fireman and officer.

Peter served on the Lewisboro Police force for 24 years and was a sergeant and department administrator for 11 of those years. In this capacity he supervised employees and monitored the upgrading of equipment and maintenance of patrol cars.

Peter also served as Director of Food Service for Canteen Corporation and as General Manager of Service Systems for Westchester Community College. Most recently he worked as the Director of Environmental Services for Sun Health Care in Stamford, Connecticut where he managed the maintenance of that facility's buildings and grounds.

Peter Ripperger works to maintain Lewisboro's roads in a cost efficient manner with the least amount of impact to our environment as possible.
